100% agree that we need better education and policy that allows generational wealth creation, not just getting by.
In a city like Los Angeles, where the cost of living is high and financial mistakes can be especially costly, preparing young people with real-world money skills is essential. We cannot expect students to navigate rent, credit, debt, and taxes without ever being taught how. Expanding financial literacy programs gives youth the tools to make informed decisions, avoid common financial pitfalls, and build stability early on. This is not just education, it is preparation for real life in a city that demands it.
